The life of gay fitness influencer Jim spirals out of control when "Heterose"—a mysterious virus that turns gay men straight—sweeps through Paris. When the muscular star of the iconic "Gym Queens" becomes infected himself, he instantly turns into a social outcast; his only remaining follower is none other than Lucien, a twink who has just come out. Together, the pair sets out to find a cure—not only to save Jim but to rescue the entire community from extinction... With this adult animated comedy, directors Marco Nguyen and Nicolas Athané dive deep into contemporary queer culture, drawing inspiration from their own experiences within the Parisian LGBTQIA+ scene. Brimming with sharp wit, this biting satire questions heteronormativity as well as the unwritten codes and exclusionary mechanisms of the gay community, while playfully illustrating just how gray a world without rainbows would be.
